On Saturday the 30th of October Junior Orsi organised its second Career Day. Our goal was to unite students from different educational backgrounds and to introduce them to renomated MedTech, pharmaceutical and consulting companies within the (bio)medical field.

Wednesday the 6th of October Junior Orsi organised an event about VSI and Cone-Beam CT at Orsi Academy in Melle. We had the pleasure to welcome 60 enthusiastic dental students who came from the UGent as well as the KUL and are interested in innovations in dentistry.This event wouldn’t have been possible without them and the experts who joined us:

Kick-Off 2021-2022

Past Saturday, Junior Orsi kick-started its new innovative year. This annual event is a gathering for students from different educational backgrounds where we try to inspire and trigger them to be at the front of innovation in healthcare and join us for the upcoming yearWe had the pleasure to welcome 150 students. They had the chance to follow different lectures and initiation-workhops. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the experts who joined us:

Workshop Interventional Radiology

Junior Orsi proudly hosted its first workshop on interventional radiology last Saturday 25th of September. We would like to thank Dr Tom De Beule, Stryker and Medtronic for the guidance during the workshop. The participants were provided with a full day of hands-on training in the catheterization lab. Participants independently performed thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling an catherterisation on high-fidelity training simulators.



Develop your skill 2021

On the 20/3/21, JUnior Orsi facilitated an introductory workshop into Laparoscopic surgery and Robotic surgery. The basics of both minimally invasive surgery types are essential knowledge and skills for any student in/starting their internships. These workshops were given by experts: the boardmembers of BAST and the fellows for Orsi Academy.


